I can't repro this crash on my M1 Mac, might be platform specific? Unmapping memory above 0x10000 seems to work fine too, writes to the memory stop being reflected in the previously-mapped userdata.

I just tested this on Windows 10: Picotron did crash. What operating system are you using?
