basically just Hoppenhelm but some things are different!! yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(you should play Hoppenhelm also, the music is AWESOME)

description

Hoppencookie is a highscore-based game that is heavily inspired by Hoppenhelm. You play as a cookie (unrelated to setting). You jump across a dungeon while getting as much score as possible and avoiding dying from:
-spikes and spikeballs!
-fireballs!
-the local fauna!
-TNT!
-and most importantly, lava!

but it's all gonna be worth it because you're gonna be rich!
(disclaimer: coins are only used to boost score. actual value may be 0.)

dev notes

there isn't a failsafe for reaching the integer limit (32767) of score. Be cautious. (you can reset your highscore via the pause menu tho)
my "biggest" game so far, using almost all my tokens! :(
(in fact, there were some things I wanted to add but couldn't)
including:
-the entire shop
-a new powerup that tanks your next hit
-a pallete selector in the settings! (this would let you change every pallete in the game! choose what colors YOU want to see!!)
-music (this wasn't because of tokens, Hoppenhelm music is too complex and long for the sfx channels)

Scored 134 so far but definitely coming back for more! Very fun and playable, with a nice level of polish, thanks for posting! I will have to check out the original.

But this isn't hugely important for this game.

Fun game, but one criticism... why do we need the mouse to navigate the menu? You don't need the mouse to play, but you have to grab the mouse when you get to the menu at the start and after if you hit the wrong button. And that limits what you can play this game on. Not every Pico device has mice.
I say remove the mouse.

Agree with removing the mouse for the menu. It would be easier to navigate with the d pad. Fun game otherwise.
