Really fun survival game so far! I played for about an hour and had only just gotten the Anvil, Crafting Bench, Forge, shovel, and fishing rod with no upgrades, so there's still a lot to do! I admit I had a SUPER hard time figuring out what the "goo" was to unlock 1/2 of the stuff, so it too me most of the time to find that. Wish there was a way to highlight the materials needed on the crafting menu to see what they are. Still, had a great time and look forward to checking back in after some more updates!

I agree this is really fun. I think I "lost" though, due to the harsh inventory limitation. My inventory is full, so I can't pick anything up, but I can't craft anything to empty out my inventory either. Should have made the trash can earlier :P

I think you should make mined items easier to pick up. Whenever I tried to mine the bridge tile above me, it was always too far away for me to grab it. If you plan on adding an underground or enemies, I suggest you look at P.Craft for some inspiration.

All in all, pretty good for early access. I can't wait to see this develop further.

I built a trashcan, but I couldn't put anything it it, so I also ended up losing because of inventory management. "How much stuff can you carry before you fill up" isn't fun.

@joealarson You can drop items by pressing down in the inventory! Hopefully that helps. The trash can doesn't do anything right now unfortunately :(

This game is super fun!! The only criteque I have is that some of the items are hard to figure out, other than that this is great. I love the hitting sound effect.

i'm excited for the full version! i can't wait to see whatever havoc the totems will start ;)

@CannonTheWildWulf Well, that is literally a game changer, knowing that.

So I don't know if this is a bug, but after waiting all night long (literally just let the game run) no more cactus ever grew. And since that was the only source of goo, I was stuck.

Feels like a much needed sequel to Islander. Moving around is kinda slow though.

This plays a lot like an old phone game I would waste hours of my life on, though honestly, this is really fun! I'm excited to play more of this, hee hee hee.

@joealarson I'm not sure if this was the issue, but there can only be a certain number of resources on screen at a time, after that no more resources will spawn. This is to prevent the game from using too much memory and crashing. There's also a hard limit of 500 entities in memory at any time. Clearing the resources or moving away from the area would fix the issue

@CannonTheWildWulf I can't be sure now, but the screen didn't have that much on it. The whole map maybe, but I was in the middle of the desert and there wasn't 500 flowers filling up the place.

@Verb I agree this feels like islander (though maybe without the dup bug). I may go play that again.

@joealarson the actual on-screen limit is much less than 500. Resources won't spawn if there's around 30-40 entities on screen.

does save not work?

@Pinapple No, saving doesn't work yet. It's also mentioned in the description

While on the subject of entities, I realize some things will spawn on the same tile as others. A flower can spawn on the same tile as an ore. Unlike islander, ores can also spawn on bridges. So what happens when you try to mine the ore? You first mine the bridge THEN you mine the ore.

first of all: nice pause menu, also this game looks amazing so far!

to be honest, this does not give me dont starve vibes XD

looks good so far! really nice crafting game. although, i do have some trees or rocks spawn ontop of eachother. one island in my playthrough shoked me alot!

it's also quite funny to look at, but it feels like a chore to get rid of them, luckly, i managed to do that
