Broseph, there are no gift codes per se. What you are saying is either "someone buy something for me for fifteen dollars" or "zep, give me a free copy of your thing".
The latter is probably a better bet than the former but would be something to send him an email about saying that you're super interested but that fifteen bucks is an economic hardship for you. Most folks building something they love will accommodate that sort of thing when presented earnestly.
But sort of just showing up in the forums and giving people a hard time for collectively not making a trade for something that doesn't formally exist to trade is not really cool.
everybody owns voxatron. look for somebody has it in the humble bundle and no interest in pico8, and beg him for it.
