A few things, @Noh.

Could you please RESET the timer in the first room (provided the player has not touched anything that can be carried since the last reset) and show the time remaining at all times ?

Thanks !

Hey I played this on itch.io! Nice to finally see it here.

i hate this game , way too hard and doesnt make sense

Hey, @marina_makes and @bigjus. Those are very harsh words !

Where is your tact ? Here now, there is the term, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."

Obviously other people like it or it wouldn't receive any Gold Stars at all.

The game is difficult - but I don't hate it. I can't think of any videogame no matter how hard or frustrating I actually "hate."

Well there is the NES game, "Dr Jekyll And Mr Hyde." While I can't say I hate it - I will say I hold a lengthy grudge against it. :)

My only complaint is it's difficult to track 20-seconds without a countdown clock. If it had that I think it could be easier to play.

not sure to understand how to progress in game without any save mechanism?
Minit allows you to go further and further without repeating actions, eg once a door is open, it stays open)

this is a really good game, but is a bit too unforgiving, I think a 30 second time limit would probably be better (<-no longer sure about this, see edit)

edit: with more testing, the main issue is how hard combos are, I would reccomend doing it minit style, and making it need to be unlocked, but not quite so hard to pull off (great concept tho)

this game feels a little too hard for me, not sure abt everyone else. sure it's suppose to be played in 20 seconds and while moves are fast and isn't reset, it i still feel that i wasn't fast enough to reach a place i wanted to go to simply i missed some jumps. it feels a little tedious that i have to get the key everytime it resets. idk, maybe you can add a timer so players don't just guess how long they got left before the time resets?

1

Very good game! The time is short but just enough to beat the game.

I finally got 2/2 endings.
If you are stuck, here's how to beat it:

ending 1:
grab key in town by wall jumping(it is the fastest way)
go to castle and super jump+wall jump to get the goggle the fastest way
swim down to sewer B on the left
you should see to the left, a cracked wall is there.
tackle the wall
use key to go to abyss, it should say go to the top of the castle or something similar(i forgot)
Wait for your death in the game
go to the bridge
super jump first then SPAM wall jump right after.
go the orb to win

ending 2:
get the key in town
run to castle and super jump + wall jump to get goggle(like how you got it in ending 1 step 2)
swim and get the red totem
swim in the hole on the right
at sewer A, go right
tackle the cracked wall
go to the lock
run to the left immediatly
stand on the pillar to win.

controls:
left/right + down + z =wall jump
left/right then up then right/left then z =roll
left/right then right/left then x =tackle (direction before x is the direction of tackle)
down then down then up then down then z= super jump

I like the design, where the persistent feature is the player's own knowledge.
I like the puzzle of first exploring the map and then finding how to get around it efficiently.
I liked the abyss, although I had to check the source code to see the messages that fade in while standing there.
I liked reaching both endings, and the freedom rewarded by the second ending.

But, even after learning all the moves and reaching both endings, I can't reliably wall jump after a super jump. Is there some way it could be more forgiving?

1

Neat concept! I like the combo moves. When I started out I didn't see how I'd be able to do anything in just 20 seconds but the combos make it possible. It's definitely difficult but it doesn't deserve hate. I have yet to beat it but I think I can if I keep trying!

I can only say one thing:AAAAAAAAAAAAH SO HARD

@dw817 you can enable a countdown clock in settings

Hi @Tatery1.

I just downloaded the latest version of "Looprealm" by by @Noh.

It has all kinds of options including enabling a countdown clock. Please let me know if this is what you want.

Thank you, NOH, for adding these awesome options !

Now I could add an option to make the game run half speed. That would double the timer speed but also give you greater control over everything as it would also run half speed.

Fast paced game, kinda like majors mask but on crack. I like how fast it is and how u have all ability’s at the start but u don’t know what buttons to press to do them.

Fun game

can someone post a playthrough gif/video of this?
