I was wondering if it is possible to embed PICO-8 to run on a web page and how to do so. What I mean is to be able to run a cart in a page like lexaloffle's website here or on itch.io for example.

PICO-8 can produce an HTML export that embeds the player Javascript in an HTML file you specify - check the example that uses the -p flag in the docs.
