I did a fresh install of PICO-8 0.2.5E. I then ran `INSTALL_GAMES".
"Frog Home" has a syntax error and can't start.

Looks like local dy+=... should be replaced with dy+=.... Did something change with how PICO-8 processes locals?

The Frog Game is one of my favorites though I never left a comment there, @eliasdaler. Yes, please, we need to get this fixed.

It can easily be fixed inside PICO-8 itself (as I explained in my post).

But it makes you wonder if it would be good for preservability to have "archived" games (games which can't be changed and which are guaranteed to never be broken by any PICO-8 updates)

To have the cart run only in the version it was saved in, guaranteeing they run even if exploiting something that is removed later. And ensuring they run perfectly every time no matter how advanced Pico-8 gets.

I know I had a Star Wars game that was suddenly not playing correctly with a Pico-8 update. Naturally I went in and fixed it, yet it would've been nice if I didn't have to do that - and in fact when it ran online it used the very version it ran perfectly in.
