The art style is really nice. Nice palette and mood and everything.
I had a runtime error line 188. I like the safe feeling inside the bar. I hope I can see more if you fix it.

It's not a bug, and it's certainly not because I didn't finish. It's a feature. Don't vote for me, because paired with your lack of understanding each vote is more than an insult.
Love the graphics. And being able to sit on the benches makes me happy.
@pineapple: Hum... You could be more gentle with the persons who don't understand. They are people of every age here (often young).
I think if there is a prey... there are monsters : we (because we lack of empathy). But I'm not sure this was the goal of your presentation. May be every life goes to an end even the game...?

Yeah I've tried myself at using intended glitches as art element too... I know how it feels so clever when you play it to yourself but people generally have their default reaction to glitches so you have to actually prepare them for it so they do understand, which kinda defeat the whole purpose in most cases. I still think it's clever :3
Nice job anyway. Probably the entry that is the closest to the theme in all of the ways!
Diner interior was a welcome respite. Not sure how I feel about the protagonist's lack of agency. Had a strong aversive reaction to the protagonist's voice, even though I recognized it was hewing pretty close to genre.
Will think about it some more.

@dw817 thank you for playing! That's as much as I finished implementing, erm, about 7 years ago now. That error is because I never quite got around to the rest of it.
Or maybe it's just a part of the experience... One can never really know, on inky-black nights like this one.
