can you copy/save carts from other people and load them into PICO-8 education edition?

Yes. If you have a cart (.p8 or .p8.png file) from someone else, you can just drag and drop it onto the PICO-8 edu edition and it will load. If you use load to load someone else's cart, you can just type save newname and it will save it under a new name for you.
