This is absolutely adorable, and extremely true to the original! Great work, I love it!
Never played the original, but I just played all the way through this one and it is a very well-made game. Excellent job!
Never played the Original either (but I will after this), but this is a nice, well-made Game. Has a quite depressing atmosphere because of the dark Colors and the Music, but I'm sure that's intended^^. Really like that Game, very well done!
amazing game, and the first comment is by the dev of the og game
Nice game and it plays way. There isn't enough variety in the areas of the map, but since the map is fairly small this is not that big a deal.
No reward for finishing the game though! Sob!
Very cool! Fun metriod, speed couldve been a bit buff as well as the slide after stoping, other than that super fun! Cool eye mechanic btw
I would love to play this but pressing down and the direction just does not work, especially on a joystick. having to manually edit the joystick setup for Pico-8 just for this game seems like overkill.
Phew ! What a busy little game you have here, @CarsonK. Gold star all the way !
And starring @YukonW no doubt ! :)
As for effects I'm not too keen on the screen shaking every time I change eyes. However you COULD make the 2nd eye which was not part of the original cat give more distortion, as you have your circle flicker for the main eye (98%-100% radius), it could flicker more for the 2nd when it is in view and without the shaking when you change eyes (94-100% radius).
Love it but just find one part weird, you find an eye and use it, does that mean you put the eye in place for YOUR eye? Other then that 10/10
No, you're missing an eye, you put in place of the missing one.
