Amiga Boing Ball is my first ever contribution to the Pico8 community. It's a recreation of the iconic Amiga Boing Ball scene. It's my plan to update the cartridge from time to time (i've some nice ideas)

ToDo / Coming soon:

  • Animated Boing Ball
  • Background Music
  • Amiga CLI loading animation

  • SoundFX for "Inserting Disc"

    and many more. AAMMMIIGGGAAAA!!!!!

What's New in THIS version:

  • Some GFX enhancment (Ball is more round)
  • Amiga Logo

Under my first upload (i accidentelly deleted) , there was a comment from a dude, and he made also Amiga Boing Ball but it fitet into a Tweet! This was so cool!!! Sad i dosn't have the Link anymore :-(

Many many many years ago, i bought Pico8 in a Humble Bundle, but never used it. 2 years ago i saw cool Demos on Pouet.net that were made with Pico8. Then i learned a bit more, came to the Discord Server of Pico8 and my love got bigger and bigger! Some weeks ago, i started my AmigaBoingBall Project (The first ever for me).... Yes i think i will stay a bit longer until Picotron comes out :-)



@Vectrex71. While Lexaloffle does have a search, sometimes Google wins out over all. @zep one thing that I believe is missing from the Lexaloffle search is the ability to enter quote keys - and search for a Pico-8 title by its exact name.

For the tweet I googled, "Pico-8 tweet amiga boing" and found it thattaways.

What is Picotron:

Picotron is the next (and final) Fantasy Console from Lexaloffle. a first Version is awaited for 2022:

So the biggest question I have, @Vectrex71. Will Picotron be downwards compatible ? Will Picotron be able to play all existing Pico-8 carts ?

If it does, I'd like to pre-order it if it's possible.

I don't know more, than what is official available. BUT i will keep an eye on Picotron AND on Pico8 :-)
