I have one large Love2D project which I think could be ported to picotron fairly easily, assuming it allows for general file access, but other than that, I don't see myself using picotron more than pico-8 because pico-8 is ideal for solo development. I'm not that good at pixel art yet, but pico-8 actually is helping me develop the skill with the scope reduced enough as to encourage me to keep going. I have over 100 ideas written down for everything I want to make with pico-8, so, I don't see myself getting very distracted by anything else.

I found a way to integrate (a cut down version of) my variable inspector without consuming tokens.
Basically you have to paste in the inspector code in immediate mode while your program is paused.
It's a bit cumbersome, because it needs to be split into 3 pieces due to the 255 character immediate mode line limit. But it actually does work, even for programs right on the token limit.

Yeah actually I did consider doing that. I already have AutoHotKey macros set up for spitting out an empty game skeleton into the text editor, so there's no reason why I couldn't do the same at the command line. A bespoke solution would be nice though.
