Press ↑+ ◯ (Z) to start motion recording. Moving during the recording will store the coordinates.
Press ◯ (Z) to play back the recorded motion.
Press ↓+ ◯ (Z) to play back the motion in reverse.

That was really clever and fun. It took me a while to get used to the controls, but I can't see how it could have been any better with the number of buttons. puzzles were great and graphics were really nice (doing colours changes for different modes was very effective).
that's super awesome! the only thing is i accidentally recorded over my tall jumps and got softlocked :/ but if you create a console version of this, i would totally play it.
The concept of recording and replaying is very original. A bit hard to adapt at the beginning but then fun to play. Also i like the graphical design!
This game gives me a sense of fun and joy. I like the graphics of this game
I'm obsessed with this. This concept is so expandable. You also taught it very clearly and made me feel like a huge genius. Absolutely wonderful work.

@JROMHacks A time in the 1:1X's took me quite a few tries, but I eventually got a 1:18, just a little bit faster than your time. (not that I was trying to beat your time specifically; I just wanted a sub-1:20 time.) Below is a GIF of the full run:
Very cool game. You could probably make many more fun puzzles using this mechanic.

@JROMHacks Sorry it took me a couple of weeks to get back to you (busy with other things, you know how it goes), BUT, after about half an hour of failed attempts...
I can conclude that I'm NEVER speedrunning this game again.
Checked the game out for about an hour and managed to beat it in under a minute! (after getting exactly 1:00 twice before that lol)
EDIT: Oops looks like I missed some strats looking at the other posts from here, so you could definitely cut down on a few more seconds
Got a 1:10 on mobile. Currently relearning the controls on computer so I can record a gif, but props to you lot for figuring out that route.
Speedrunning aside, this is such a good game. I will say, most of the game feels like a tutorial with not much room for error - that's why people are asking for more levels - but the mechanics are so unique and well executed. The are is also incredible, the black and white style is done so well. Can't wait to see what you do next :)

What a clever game!, it really gave me a nice surprise, the mechanics are really good, it's a shame that the game it's short, I hope see in the future a complete version or maybe more level, keep doing great games like this.
Very fun and original game! It would be nice to add more puzzles that are more challenging, but overall, excellent game.

I hope there will be a full game with this concept some day. It's too cool of a concept to not be.
I'd just like to share that I think this is a fun mechanic to mess around with (proceeds to clip into a wall and die so I can spawn at the start with the tape)
As I'm playing every featured cart to curate a list of my favorite carts and then put them all into a tier list, this one is guaranteed to get like an S+.
God tier concept, can't wait for a steam release
After countless hours of grinding I got 59sec multiple times (with my own strats)
Now that I saw some runs from other comments 58 might actually be possible
I'M SO DONE WITH THIS
This has to be the best run I've ever pulled. 54 seconds
Nothing can outstand this unless there's another strat that could potentially be faster.

This was so fun to play! I initially thought this was a standard platformer, but I was amazed by the time reversing mechanic. It kinda reminded me of Ekko from league :D
