@SaltySalticid Thanks for giving it a play, and glad that you liked the feel of it. I love composing game music so I'm glad you enjoyed the title screen tune. I left music out of the main game loop since I find that with such short play sessions it's unlikely that folks would hear more than the first few bars, but I totally understand your perspective too. I adjusted the cake sprite to be a little more visually distinct, so thanks for the feedback! :)
I have a bug report. In on the start screen it says "Dash". I think you misspelled "Zoomies"
Found some interesting behaviour while playtesting. In the web player, when you press 'escape' then select 'exit' from the menu, you're sent back to the Picotron desktop. From here, you can navigate to the game's hiscore value and easily edit it manually. Might be a drawback if folks want to add their Picotron games to sites with leaderboards (Newgrounds, Gamejolt) as this can probably be exploited.
Wow. This game is so fun. I love the art and beautiful animation. It's like pacman, but with cat and cakes ;)

This is so much fun! My high score is 414, it gets tricky very quickly!

My first reaction to the "donuts" was that they were collars. Evil humans trying to contain the cat!
