Madeline is climbing Mount Celeste again, but this time she's brought a stepstool to help her reach new heights.

Controls
Arrow keys - Move
C/Z - Jump

Down+X to pick up a stool, and X to throw it.
Hold Down while throwing to place the stool gently instead.

This thing has been in development for way too long. A large portion of it was procrastination, as I ran out of level ideas and I'd set the goal to have at least 24 levels. I think it turned out pretty cool though, and I can't wait to see what the speedrunners do to it :)
Speedrun tech: throw stool upward, dash up, grab stool after regaining dash, repeat for infinite dashes. Works diagonally, too.
I absolutely loved playing through this Celeste mod. The mechanics of using the stool were amazing to play with, I feel like the level designs used the stool abilities really well, and the berry placement were good too.
I have no idea how to get the crystal heart at the end though, I can't seem to find any way to get the stool up there to it since it's blocked off by the semi-permanent looking blocks.
Overall had a great time playing it, and here's my first attempt results
So I decided to keep trying until I figure out how to get the Crystal Heart at the end, and I ended up figuring out how to get the Golden Stool. It was tough getting it to the end but I managed, though even now I don't know what to do with it. It doesn't go through the semi-permanent blocks and I don't know what other characteristics it might have.
Also for some reason the death counter goes up by 3 now. I had 71 deaths and tried to explore the area above, found nothing, died, and checked my score again to see 74 deaths, so I don't know if that's intentional or not.
Well literally like 30 seconds after my last post I figured out what to do on accident. Finally got true ending and it was a lot of fun
