That's a fair point, @YannickS. Not today, tomorrow I think. I'll write code that should be satisfactory. It will have 3 steps in it and should not run any slower.

  1. CLS()
  2. Draw all your sprites and graphics. Yellow here will not ignite.
  3. Draw anything YELLOW here to have it ignite, circles, lines, etc.

Any particles from ignition will not interfere with sprites or previous drawings and animation nor can they even be read with pget().

I can have the ignition appear on top of or below that first graphic layer. For the demo I'll work on it will be on top.
