How can I improve the art and music?

I like that this cart has its own minimalist, chill vibe, it’s a bit like a postcard :)

What to change («improve» is subjective!) depends on your goals; we don’t know if you want tips about pixel art techniques, or feedback about the music, or something else. Also it’s posted in the «blogs» section which may get fewer people seeing it than «carts» or «WIP» or another one.

I’m no artist but here are some suggestions that may answer your question:

• the sunset could use dithering to blend the colours together more instead of discrete bands
• I’m not sure what the white circle is, but that’s okay; a rounder shape could be more pleasing (avoid flat lines on top and bottom)
• the sun could have some detailing
• the waves could have more details (using dark blue and white for example) and the movement be more organic by being not one single movement but multiple things moving
