It's not the same cart, dw. The code isn't even remotely similar.
Also, don't criticize people for having the same idea as someone else or even for knowingly imitating a game they've seen before. That's, like, 90% of PICO-8 carts. People learn by imitating what came before. It's normal and I would even say it's encouraged in the PICO-8 world, which is largely a learning environment for new gamedevs.
A suggestion would be to add a bonus timer and score it based on finessing the curve as exactly as possible. Get it perfect within 3 seconds (I dunno) and you get a full 100 points (or something like that), but less if you're not quite right or you take too long. Probably want to have a maximum amount of time too, to add pressure, maybe 10 seconds (again I dunno), and you either lose score or the game ends.
