my attempt at a mariokart clone. Up to accelerate and z to use powerups.
Still some way to go but coming along nicely :)

Woah, congrats it's cool, i really did not expect to see a Mario Kart clone for Pico-8 :)
the slowdown on the dirt patch is brutal :p
also, I hit the side walls while using a star item and clipped through them into some sort of infinite brown plane
The last time I posted on this forum was also about a clipping bug so I think that is my special talent

Hi I made a version that fixes most things and adds a few more features! Feel free to speedrun in Time Trial Mode (option on the menu while not racing).
