Just a small test that I made for fun. I've always been interested in programming some sort of graphing calculator, but never attempted it. Well, this is one step closer. I made a viewer that draws 14 different functions. You can also zoom in and out to get a better view of the function.
It would be cool to make something that actually allowed you to input your own function, but that is a project for another day. I also wanted to add option to move around the coordinate system, but lack of buttons made that difficult.
Anyway, I hope someone gets something out of this. At least I had fun coding it. :)
Hah, only after uploading it I noticed the obvious typo on the starting screen. Oh well... :D
This is great for me, since I'm using some of these functions applied in time for animation in my pong clone!
Cool thing you could add is tan(x) that you get from sin(x)/cos(x)
@Space_G Glad you liked it!
This project actually took an interesting turn. I decided to make it playable and quickly realised that functions can be super powerful tools for setting collision. With piecewise-defined functions you can make pretty much anything. I also added some physics into the game, which took some effort for sure.
I think the project has evolved so much that I'm just going to release it as its own cart when it's ready. However, I still need to add some enemies or other threats, not to mention make some stages.
