I made this little game and I wanted to upload it so I can find it in the splore, in the findable section.
I was curious about the process.
Can someone help me with a little tutorial on how to do that, please?
You uploaded your cart so that's all you need to do. There's no real process beyond that.
Cartridges you upload will appear in the "New" section of Splore. There are also Splore categories for Jam and WIP carts that I've always assumed are just ordered newest-oldest.
The "Featured" list is curated and the "Lucky draw" is just random, although I've found a ton of gems here because you're right in that Splore does not make it easy to find games if you don't know what you're looking for. Of course, you can always search in Splore too...and you can search by author, so searching for your name will bring up carts you've submitted.
It'd be nice if Splore had some tags or other ways to better organize and discover games...but when you're just starting out and submitting carts, it's just going to get in the list with all the others.
IMO, this means game title and the cart PNG image is pretty important to get eyeballs...not unlike making a thumbnail for YouTube or other stream of posts that are designed to get attention. I try not to judge a book by its cover but that's what people do more often than not.
