It is a cool idea and a nice art, but you can surely make the game without using vectors.
The sea wave sound is awesome. By the way, you need an init function; otherwise, you will fail to restart the game because you didn't reset the counters, such as the index of the score. As a result, it overflows when the player chooses to play the game again.
