I made this as my first project after the tutorial by Dylan Bennett in "Game Development with PICO-8".
Just changed the sprites and colors for now.
It's a nice one-button game. Reminds me to a game with a little bird ;-)
I think is a great base to begin with some juiciness. Add animations for the explosion, some particles in background or camera shakes. It will bring your game to another level and you will learn more about programming and pico-8 :-)

I'm very new to PICO-8, learning through tutorials the basics. I would love to come back to this 1-button-game and add more juice to it. the idea of only having one button is kind of appealing ...
