This is a realtime analog clock in PICO-8

Now if we had a ROTATE option, we could really give some good detail to the hands like copper lotus on the tips. :)

@dw817: you don't need ROTATE option, everything you need is some vectorial graphics, i.e. made of lines&points. Want copper lotus on the tips? You can have it!

Well look at you, master of all that is 3D, Ray-traced, and vector. I bow to your mastery !! :D

Ha, ha. Mastery? Not really, just cheap tricks. There's only one rabbit in the hat, if there's any at all. Some/many years ago, I could write a simple sphere raytracer from scratch in just a few minutes, but now I'm lagging behind. I'm happy Pico8 runs the small chunks of old-school spaguetti code I write without complaining too much.

Well what you did is simply beautiful ! While I'm fairly good at manipulating numbers, I'd trade it all to have your kind of background in understanding real 3D graphics, vectors, and polygons.

This is very cool! Is it just me or are the blue and pink hands the wrong way around. Normally the short hand is the hour hand, but it looks like it is the minute hand here.

Not bad.
But, the hour hand moves once an hour. It is not realistic

I agree. This version looks more realistic. Use buttons to enable/disable drawing lotus at the end of the tips.
