A remake of the classic computer puzzle game LaserTank for PICO-8, for the Demake jam.
Includes a hand-picked collection of 50 levels from the original game. I think I'll have to make a multicart version to include more levels.
I haven't implemented all the physcis quirks (bugs) of the original game, but I don't think any of the included levels rely on them to be solved. At least I hope not.
Now THIS is a really good puzzle ! Complete with refracting mirrors that bounce your shot off at angles.
You might add an input so if you press LEFT or RIGHT, you only rotate in that direction, whereas (O) or (X) will move you forward.
The movement now is kind of like the player in Pokemon but without the smoothness.
Damn you reminded me of that game I played on windows 98. And I loved it, and I just downloaded the original but will complete this one first because you selected 50 interesting levels I guess

And yeah, I also played it back in the day! I have a few levels in the level pack there, under the author name "Spug". Probably not very good.
AHHH, I was going to make this! Thanks! LazerTank has been a fave little diversion of mine since the early 2000's!
