Prety good art. The game is fun and difficulty is progressive. "Bone Marrow Wasteland" is so hard, I only beat it by change ... Each level has his own enemies and style, realy great !

this is such a great piece. been coming back to it again and again, even though it's so $&*%!ing hard. it's like battling an evil slime mold that just won't stop. marvelous work.
Hey, was this inspired by the arcade game Spiders? The way stuff grows and multiplies, being rather esoteric and the things that charge down towards you during one of the areas seem very Spiders-like. This is way a bit better than that crummy game though!
@Vectorguy You are 100% right. When I started it at the LudumDare I only had a misty memory of this game : I only saw it once as a child in a mexican old arcade room and hadn't the chance to play it. So I tried to find some youtube video to remind me the gameplay. I was a bit disapointed by the result, so I decided to stick to my child memory to build this one.

Funny how that game inspired Zantis as well, a homebrew for the Vectrex.

I did it, had to do bone marrow wasteland as the first on otherwise I couldn't keep up.
The object of the game is to shoot the bubbly things. A good strategy is to always target the ones that crop up closest to the bottom of the screen, as they're much less tough. Also, mash Z instead of holding it down.
