AAAAALLLRIGHT! I finally made it! Let me justify myself a bit :
I made this map once, and right at the end, willing to double check for errors, I mistaken the load button with the save button, overwriting my whole map with the default plain grass map. Yes, I punched a hole in the wall, thousands of them. Oh and I stopped playing Voxatron, sulking the game like a whiny little baby.
And then, some days later, this game was missing for me, it was like a part of my life. So I decided to make my map all over again! This time making sure to have a backup (3) somewhere everytime saving. And I've done it! It's online now and you've probably played it, or you will, I dare you will (Please).
So here we are now! Have fun! The difficulty is incremential so everyone is able to get somewhere near or not to the end!
Oh and yeah, I used the _dojo funtion and a custom character. Aaaand nothing from the original asset!
Don't forget to save the villages!
I wanted to say some stuff but I dont want to spoil the game XD
job well done and as always... here is my score:

edit:
oops, i had to crop the lil message underneath it :o
That. That was pretty freakin cool.
Nice work! Lots of fun! Custom character just MADE IT.
Just played this one.
I really liked it. The time you put into it shows. Looks nice, and it's fun. :D
Thank you everyone! You prove me that it was worth making it twice!
@JT Sentinel As mentioned by the creative commons, you are free to share and to remix my creation, so yeah, do as you wish!
Very good map sir. I though the minimap/level selection room was particularly clever. The monsters were also balanced fairly and there were seemingly no "trial and error" scenarios in any of the rooms.
The only thing that struck me as odd was the space in between the towns and such on the minimap room. If there was a bit more scenery filling all that blank space (e.g. forests, rivers, mountains, swamps, lakes etc.) it would've been much better.
As it is though, it was a fun 15 min play through and a good demonstration of Voxeltron gameplay.
8.4/10.0

This is amazing :D
When enemy customizing is out, nothing can stop you ;D
Nice one, love the zelda-esque theme, and the overworld map was a nice touch. I do agree with Cubic Meter though that the map seemed oddly spacious. Otherwise, sweet level.
I loved this map. This is probably the first one that really showcased what Voxatron is capable of beyond the adventure mode Zep created. I'll be sure to point it out to others. Absolutely incredible work, please continue creating content of this caliber.
Really high quality work, amazing! The "level selection screen" is well done, and the voxel art and level design are top notch. Keep up the great work! My only suggestion would be to work on the plot, it doesn't make much sense...
What part of "You found the sword of fortune, you're our hero! Go on, save our world. We'll wait for you." doesn't make sense? Hehe. It's cute...
I really liked the level. It's the best bbs level I played to date!!
Please continue with the good job!!
Thank you again everyone! And about the sense of the plot, it's just hard to make something complex and long to read with all those dialog boxes, so I tried to simplify it as much as possible! And the scenery was supposed to be more consistant but I just forgot, like that I was supposed to add a little monologue at the beginning ;P Anyway, I will probably start working on a new map soon!
I feel dumb for asking, but i cannot download this. Whenever I click on 'The Quest of Elements' or '#3922' it opens up a web page of an enlargement of the level picture.
Please help!
It seems you're emulating some kind of _not_my_kind_ofgame, so I don't belong in the targeted audience. But I have a comment anyway:
The towns look very unconvincing. Houses look a a bit dull, and worse - monotonous, because they're all the same basically.
@NATE, the image IS the level file. Save it, and copy it to your appdata/roaming/voxatron/my_levels folder, and open it in the editor.
I finally played it, and.... IT IS EPIC! Best map evah!!
And the plot... Wonderful, simply wonderful! It even has a plot twist!
:)
