Greetings Humanoids, so I have been interested in the demo scene for quite some time now and I thought I'd start a group and invite those interested. This is that invite. I work mostly on music but I can do other things to an extent. To those who join, I look forward on working with you. I mostly need a programmer and a artist as, while trying not to sound cocky, I think I have the music down pat. -Simon

Hi @ScrubSandwich (Simon). Your offer comes at a most propitious moment. Total turtle as I call it.
@enargy has informed me, "we kind of have the days all planned out" so I won't be able to join any of my carts to the Advent Calendar 2019 nor join the club there.
That being the case no other new Christmas carts made at this time by any other programmer who was not already on this exclusive list will apparently be accepted either. Rather a stunted turn of events I thought.
The only thing that hurts worse than an outright lie is the truth, so that is the truth of the situation ... there you go. Maybe by contributing my cart as early as January I can actually submit it in time for Christmas of 2020. Maybe.
However yes, I would be interested in joining your gamer's group. As you know I am a pretty good 2D programmer and anything involving complexity in that matter or data management I should be able to cover in my coding.

Who knows ? With the turn of the year we might return to one of the earlier projects we were working on but this time have help and assistance from other fellow programmers. That would be excellent.
My contact is inside the carts code, but I can see that it was more difficult to find then expected. ScrubSandwich#7190 this is my DISCORD contact and I already have a server mostly set up for experimenting.
It's fine if you aren't proficient in Pico-8 yet, with this group I'm not expecting sheer greatness but just the fun of working with a group of like-minded individuals on silly computer programs

I'm not sure. Are you logged in to DISCORD ? You must have an account prior to joining a channel.
If you still can't get it working we can check with Scrub on the morrow. He's the one that set it up for me. And yes, we're rapidly working towards finishing a new Christmas game and we'd like you present for suggestions and recommendations. :)

Oh, and I just finished writing the game. Well I need to set it so the player can get hurt right now he's invulnerable to attack. But all the levels, controls, animation, and scoring are complete. :D
Scrub wanted to add some tunes to it and we'll polish it and stuff before release.

Can I get an invite? I'd be down to server as a sort of "understudy" or benched player. I can offer advice and ideas from the sidelines. I don't have a terribly large amount of free time these days, but I am very good as a wall to bounce ideas off of and even better at problem solving!
