That jam was prety cool, even if I only worked two days on it. I tryed to add another mecanic, where fire could spread from leaves to leaves, but it was too random so I removed it.
This game is beautiful, especially considering you spent all of 2 days on it. I love these weird, spidery plants.
Wow this game is great! I got so into it I just sat there and played it to the end. I noticed that the rain cannons got a bit stuck after being rotated to the limit, and the mirrors don't seem to have any speed limit when rotating. I don't know if this is intentional but I thought I'd mention it anyway.
Anyhow, amazing feat for 2 days work, and yes the spidery plants are beautiful, nice music too!
nyaa, those vines are creepy ;~; but the gameplay and puzzles are solid, so I approve.
The music is great and I love how the vines just go crazy. I played every level and some of them were pretty tricky. Nice work.
In this we are exposed to the true magnitude of how we desire to control things traditionally considered to be the realm of deities, how we long to exert control over even such natural forces as the weather itself and over those vegetative servants which rely on it. To repair the environment which we irresponsibly destroy? No, to create a garden which pleases the eye. We pretend we are gods using powerful technologies to bend the firmament to our will, and being shown the extent of our transgression we should feel ashamed.
This game at once makes me enjoy it for it's puzzle elements and weirds me out with these weird plant things...they're creepy.
Super fun puzzles! I included it in my Pico-8 Jam #1 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/LE0NF8O7rUM
I also included it in an article of my favorites! http://fireside.gamejolt.com/post/jam-favorites-pico-8-jam-1-putidgf8
