Left,Right to move.
Z,X to jump. Hold jump to glide.

Wanted to make something with the game-feel-onomatopoeia of "pak-pok". There's a lot of this in games (eg: Mario turtle shells) but the "pok" usually ends in death.

My last cart-game featured a lot of death so I felt like making something nice instead. But then I kinda needed spikes. Sorry. It's a little bit violent, but no one dies.

This game is built on top of the simple platformer engine I posted here: https://www.lexaloffle.com/bbs/?tid=35086

Thanks to the following for helping test the game: Mark Foster, Hafiz Azman, Dugan, Paul Jeffries, Martin Ferenc, German Gonzalez

This is an amazing cart ! Lots to learn both in the game and sourcecode. Never played a platformer like this before. It definitely gets my vote and star ! For both excellent gameplay and exemplary and detailed notes in your source.

Very good jump mechanic (quite novel in a way).
Would need a catchy music on top.

Stuck at level 8/11 :/

(ahah - I love the mom/kids tree function names!)

you can ride on top of bugs as well as kick them

I can't do music. If someone wants to do a minute of two-track music I'll put it in. I kinda know how to splice carts together.

Very good concept and level design. I'm not particularly a fan of 'infinite lives' but the level design is so good, I can forgive this extra layer of challenge since it does indeed require a death or two to work out the puzzles you've made.

Good work!
