my computer doesn't do it.
LF Alt + q nothing Right Alt + q also nothing
You must be extra angry because you lost progress on a game you were making. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but My voxatron just crashes out of nowhere all the time. I lose a lot of progress by that happening, and now I have a habit of saving after every detail i make.
Also my voxatron doesn't close when I press alt + Q, but you did write: "alt gr + Q" idk if the "gr" is a thing that is important or not.
it is, alt gr is my right alt, the left alt is just alt
and yes, I am mad.
also my voxatron doesn't crashes out of nowhere, it crashes after a set of specific command are entered (for example, saving and loading another file at a short period of time)
@Jauq
My voxatron ALSO crashes from nowhere, while making a level, which is pretty weird.
Aw man, I didn't realise fast-quit keys were causing so much grief.
This might be happening because CTRL-Q quits (it's a linux thing) and is being mapped incorrectly on your keyboard. In any case, I'll remove it from non-linux builds and add a proper quit prompt when there are unsaved changes (instead of the shift-click to exit the editor thing).
Also, I'm working on eliminating crashes for 0.3.3/0.3.4 although haven't been able to reproduce any lately on my test machines -- please feel free to post any more details you can remember or notice on subsequent crashes, even if seemingly mundane. If anyone gets a crash under OSX, it would be great to get the crash log too (click on show more details and copy / paste the log text to an email to hey @ lexaloffle dot com).
Welcome back Zep :)
Ctrl + q works and I like it
I didn't even know that there was a fast - quit :)
